AI interior design you can actually buy.

Every AI interior tool has the same problem: it invents beautiful furniture that doesn't exist, so you can't actually buy any of it. This one only uses real IKEA products — you upload your room, and every shelf, lamp, bed, and pillow it places back comes with a real link and a running total.

You commented DESIGN — here's the tool. It's free and open-source (MIT); you just bring a Google Gemini API key, which runs a few cents per room.

Real IKEA products, priced and linked
How it works

Four parts, one rule: only real products.

Under the hood it stitches together the publicly available IKEA product catalog and three models, each doing one job — analyse, generate, check. That's what keeps every item in the render something you can actually add to a cart.

SourceIKEA catalogThe public product catalog — every real item, price, and link.
AnalyseClaudeReads your room, dimensions, references, and budget.
GenerateChatGPT Image 2Renders the redesigned room around real catalog items.
CheckGeminiVerifies the picks match, and the total is right.

All you do is feed it four things:

01
Your room

Upload a photo and your dimensions

Give it a picture of the room and the measurements. It redesigns the space and places real IKEA items back into it — the shelf, the lamp, the bed, even the pillows are actual products, each with a link and a running total price.

02
Your taste

Drop in reference images

Have a look you love? Paste Pinterest screenshots or any reference images and it matches real IKEA items to that style — so the result actually looks like the mood board, not a generic AI room.

03
Your budget

Set a number and stay under it

Give it a budget and it designs the entire room under that figure — swapping pieces to hit the number instead of handing you a wishlist you can't afford.

04
Your country

Pick your local IKEA

Select your country at the top and every item and price comes from your local IKEA store — so the links work and the total is real money in your currency, wherever you are.

Install · the easy way

One line. That's the whole install.

If you have Claude Code (or Codex, or any coding AI), you don't set anything up yourself. Paste this and let it do the work — it installs everything and opens the app in your browser at localhost:8321.

Install and run this IKEA room tool for me: https://github.com/artemnovitckii/ikea-room
iOne thing to grab: the API keys the models run on — the installer tells you exactly which and walks you through pasting each one. Reckon cents per room, not dollars. The quickest to grab is a free Google Gemini API key (turn billing on).
Built it, use it daily

I have genuinely zero design taste and this basically did my whole apartment for me. It's open-source under MIT — the code's on GitHub. Redesign a room with it, then send me the before/after on Instagram — I love seeing these — or ask for help in the weekly call on Skool.
